2023 World Tunnel Congress (ITA-AITES World Tunnel Congress—Athens WTC 2023)

From May 12–18, 2023, the World Tunnel Congress (WTC 2023) was held at the Athens Concert Hall by the Hellenic Committee on Tunnels and Underground Works (EESYE).

P. Tsakas, LLC was a Silver Sponsor and Exhibitor.

We also had the honor of presenting one of our projects with the Public Power Corporation (PPC): Stabilization and Waterproofing of the Sloping Section of the Spillway Tunnel at the Ilariona Dam.

The rock mass was stabilized and sealed by applying special injectable polyurethane resins (PU RESINS).

This resulted in a homogeneous, stable, and watertight structure with exceptional mechanical properties and noticeable results, which have also been confirmed by the necessary tests.
